Maybe next year will be better!! Robert... you'll find we just kinda chat away on any available thread. :) haha kristen PS. I've been to Nebraska once. ;)  |
Kristin,
You are right about that time in Austin, it just had faded from my memory banks. Probably something related to my advanced age:eek:. I had originally planned to be in Tulsa (I actually gave my hotel room reservation to John Dean) and then an opportunity popped up for me to go to Italy and sail around the Bay of Naples and the Coast of Amalfi. It was a tough choice, but Italy won! Hopefully I'll be in Tulsa next year. :3DSMILE::3DSMILE::3DSMILE: |
Well.........since we've highjacked the thread, it must be travel talk time. Jim, I'm heading to Milan and Flourence Saturday. Kristen just returned from Paris (France that is). We're just world travelers, eh?

Steve, hilarious email. I woke Amy up from a nap laughing, so you owe me. Getting back to point, Robert, I, too, bought a "pre-owned" Cobra. I found SPF#867 on an aged listed on Cobra Country and flew to Columbus, Ohio to inspect and drive it. 6 years old and 4900 miles on it. Bought it 4 days later after driving it 5 miles in 19 degree weather. If/when you find a car that suits your fancy, PM folks you see on Club Cobra in that area. Believe me, somebody somewhere knows about that car and owner. Just root around a little, you'll find out if it's been taken care of or not and what kind of owner has it. This is a great bunch and love their cars, the monikor/legacy and those who take care of them. And don't love and call out those who don't. |
Steve,
We were in Milan last year and did Florence in 2004. Of the two, I enjoyed Florence more than Milan, but both are worth visiting. Get ready for the Euro pricing, the good old US dollar is pretty weak against it so there will be some sticker shock when eating out, etc. Good time of year to visit weather wise, so enjoy! Ciao! :3DSMILE::3DSMILE::3DSMILE: |
