Roush Nascar 351 Engine

hi guys
had a great road trip through the texas hill country last weekend, even with a couple of rain showers.
a friend is bringing a partially completed cobra to my shop later this week. he wants me to finish it. when he bought the kit it came with several race goodies. the original owner was killed in an accident so there is no info on what he has. when i looked at the car and parts i noticed that the so called 351 engine wasn't a ford block. it has a rousch intake, big aluminum heads and the block has a big R in a circle on the passenger side. it was sitting in a corner so it was hard to inspect the engine. the little i could read for the block number seemed to be E3ZW-801... something. it also comes with a race built top loader with billet linkage. i have no idea what this is worth. he will drop everything off at my shop which will make it easier to inspect. at that point i can take pics. he is not interested in using this engine as he wants only a steet car. can anyone help in determining what the engine tranny combo is worth. i told him i would try to help him sell both.
