I had 3/4" removed on the driveshaft, so that I could get it to clear the differential flange. They recommended no more than 1" of play. I have to say they were very agreeable on the redo.

Startup? I will have to see how much progress I can make over the labor day weekend. Still working on mocking up the headers and pipes, but I've got a whole list of little items. Maybe the following weekend. No way I will be driving it on the 6th. (sorry Chris Noland).

I use Driveshaft King too. They do a good job AND usually very quick. Kinda tricky to get to their shop though.......
did you get them to sharpen your lawn mower blades while you were there?
