This wreck happened in front of my house. The cobra reached the necessary speed to roll itself in 3 or 4 houses (it either came out of a parking lot or the 4 way stop) Not much distance at all. I examined the scene after the clean up and found that the car jumped the curb then glanced off of two small trees before flipping over. The car had a single driver side roll bar. Someone on the other forum ID'd the car as a Backdraft. It was kind of shocking to walk outside and see 5 police cars, 2 ambulances, 2 fire trucks and 2 other emergency vehicles and the car of my dreams upside down in front of my house. At least everyone survived.

Poor choice to drink and drive if the news report is accurate... that type of disregard for others needs stern enough discipline to change behavior. But if you are going to make it equal to 'murder one' or start executing people for it you better add in there driving while talking on the cell phone, putting your makeup on, reading the newspaper or a map and eating your burger and fries! Those are all premeditated as well and just as likely to cause an accident.
I think that is why Germans took so long to put cup holders in cars... they expect you to be DRIVING while behind the wheel, not doing everything else under the sun. Our rules of the road and judicial system is so subjective and inconsistent.

Gee... I started
drinking and driving at 14 and did it for 50 years without any problem at all.. damn, it was a lot of fun...quit drinking...still driving...

Reg doesn't think it's a BDR - floor mat is not a BDR and the rear track appears to narrow.
Any update on the driver / passenger ?

ok Mr. Coop... dont get me started:mad:. ive had a few tonight and just barely made it home mysfl **). it would appear to me the crumpl zone is in the roll bars in this case :JEKYLHYDE. has anyone done any testing on this? juist dont get me started.
