Another T.!.T. Job
I am trying to figure out the best time to schedule another job for the team. It looks like one of our fearless founding members will be wearing a hula skirt (personally, I don't think he has the legs for it) for the next couple of weekends.
With that in mind how does Saturday 6/20 at 10am sound? I will gladly provide pizza especially for you East side folks. |
please excuse my ignorance...what are you talking about? You caught my attention with TIT job, just doubt I am thinking the right thing. :eek:

As a founding member of T.I.T., I need to inform the pit crew I will be unavailable due to planned travels. So one "East Sider" will not be in need of pizza.

All hands are welcome. I would really appreciate any extra hands I can get. We will be installing a cast iron FE into my car. Strong backs are welcome as well. I may want to start a bit earlier than 10 (thinking about 9am)if I can get enough help.

Being this is an installation and not an extraction, I take it I can leave the breaker bar at the house? I can bring a B.F.H. if we need to make something "fit". :LOL: |

I am in. I have already talked to David. I am bringing the hoist and balancer. I will try and get there a little early so we can unload and get set up.

If the group needs another engine lift I have one in my garage that I can drop off, I am pretty good at just sitting and watching others have fun working.

Can't make this one...out of town guests. However, DAMDFW, do you have fans for TIT creature comfort? If not, I can loan you a couple of high velosity ones for cross-flow ventilation.

I should be there. I do not know of anything at this time.
On a side note, I may have a call for T.I.T. in the near future as well. Still no Cobra, but I need to drop the Transmission in the Mustang and change the Clutch and Throwout Bearing. Could use a couple of extra hands for that one. PS. does any east siders know a close place (Rockwall or Wylie) that resurfaces Flywheels just in case I need to do it once we pull it. |
I'll be there ready to offer any smart ass comments needed.

Larry, I would like to borrow those fans. I can come by and pick them up any evening this week. John Ross, would you like me to pick up the lift before Saturday, or will you bring it with you? Sam, I was able to mock up the engine/trans without the trans lift, but thank you. I have asked Jshel1 to bring his large fender cover. If anyone else has some, I could probably cover something with it. So far, things look good for a successful T.I.T. job this weekend. Thanks |
