Problem I`m having is that they ( obviously ) can`t/won`t compare to a true racing tire or something like the Nitto 555 series 17" tires .
Today , the choices for track and extreme high performance are mostly limited to 17" and up . This is why I`m now ordering 17" wheels and race slicks for track weekends . When you are at the edge and a car goes around you in the turn .... time to do something else .
BTW , Roger Krause Racing is a West Coast source for the Avons , SASCO is the East Coast source .

Have you looked at running the Goodyear G7's on the track?
