Default Does my wheel make my car look fat?!

Another newbie victim of the infamous Compomotive MIA spinner.I know I know go with pin drive. In time In time.

Ive read all the threads and gaagled it!
I have the ones that secure with side alan screws.

First one to help me in succesfully acquiring one including those I already have talked to gets 3 Bills ($300)

I know most dont notice but its Cobra dismorphism when driving my wheel feels its 10 times bigger than the others. Lol.

You shouldn't be around other cars long enough for them to make yours start feeling bad about it's self!

Ignore it, but upgrade to pin drives -- preferably six pins, but five will do.

Take the spinners off. Its a race car, no bling needed.

How do the spinners attach? I wonder if it would be possible to buy a standard aluminum spinner and machine it to attach as the original, fake spinners? Might have to do all 4 to get matching spinners.

They fit over the hub with a cheesy little set screw holding them on that tends to back out and then the spinner flies off like a rhinestone stud on a roller coaster.

I dont think I have a choice on whether I take them off or not they apparenlty make that decision all on their own.

I don't know enough about your particular make of car. But your wheel conversion package should include the hub and rotor, and be compatible with your existing calipers and bearings. Both five pins and six pins look the same from the outside, but six pins are nicer and, generally, present less problems (but cost more).

I have a set of 4 Compomotive HB wheel spinners that I'm willing to sell. Please let me know if you are still in need or have decided to go with another solution.

Well, we are all "Cobra" guys so it is a given that we must believe that more is better. :-) I will note that I own an SPF that is working on 78,000 miles. SPF's come with 5 pin wheels. Mine have been on and off MANY times and seen LOTS of hard track use. I have yet to experience a single problem related to the 5 pin design. My experience, fwiw.

Hey RedHawk
I'm new to this forum and a neophyte at navigating the site. Your post regarding the Compomotive wheel spinners got my attention. I have a set of 15" 4 log Compomotive wheels and I've lost one of my spinners. Mine are the type that attach by virtue of a set screw. Any information that you have regarding where I might acquire a replacement spinner or a set would be very much appreciated.
