Well, come on. How many times has your Cobra had an issue and you said "I've got to get this fixed right now or the world will come to an end"? My spinners were stuck. But it was not essential that they come of right now. So I got the American Hammer (from the guy at AH that used to give forum members a smokin deal). Took a few smacks at it and figured that rotation was the key and had all 4 off in an hour or so. Yeah, some of the angles with the hammer were inconvenient, but nothing that was going to create permanent injury (our bodies and brains tend to regulate these kinds of activities).

Nothing about a Cobra screams urgency. It's a recreational vehicle.

I gave up years ago buying the most expensive tools that I use once. And extend that to the right tool that will not wear out before I die. So the Harbor Freight safety wire pliers were perfect for me (oh and by the way, it's the same one that Amazon sells...) On the other hand I did buy a whole bunch of Hitachi air tools (framing nailer, stapler, finish nailers) because they could take the abuse.

To the OP. Take your time. It'll work out.
