I use a standard TO bearing but use a late Mustang clutch cable with a homemade clutch quadrant. The OEM quadrant just didn;t pull enough cable per inch of pedal travel so I made my own adding 1/8" to the radius. It works very smoothly and with a diaphragm pressure plate is not uncomfortable to use. I agree with Roscoe that it is all in careful and proper installation but I am a firm believer in keeping things simple. That's why I opted for the cable setup. I use a Lakewood blowshield and just had to relocate the pivot ball to the passenger side of the housing which was no biggie.
