Transmission Info ?
Hello Everyone ,
I am new here and come here seeking some trans information . I have a 4 speed top loader trans and I am trying to find out what it came out of . There are several places on the web and not all the info is the same . I have looked here for info . http://www.5speeds.com/toploader.html#tag , http://www.davidkeetoploaders.com/ , http://www.woodyg.com/fairlane/finfo/toploader5.html . The tag on the trans I have says HEH CC . Two of the three places say it is a 1965 AC Cobra 427 close ratio trans . Is this info correct ? If anyone has more info on this topic please let me know . You went to David's site and could not identify a toploader????? Hmmm......

390 galaxie wide ratio
http://www.davidkeetoploaders.com/idchart1.htm I believe all 427 cobra's came with big input splines. I would guess that a galaxie 390 tranny would be small spline. Is it big or small input ? |
