Neutral Safety Switch

Can someone out there give me an outline on what I need and how to hook up the neutral safety switch on my TKO 600?

Hook up the pigtail on the tailshaft in between the key and the starter solenoid (cut the black plug off, its easier than finding the other side).

I can only say this about that: I do not have one. One day I got stuck on an exit ramp due to a stuck float. The state police were ready to call a tow truck but I put it in third, hit the starter, and limped off the ramp to fix the float.

If you are running a hydraulic clutch, it is very easy to hook up a brake (hyd)pressure switch in parallel with the NSS. This way you can start your car in neutral or with the clutch depressed.
