Default Speedometer jump all over when above 25mph

Need some help! I have a newer SPF and the Speedometer jump all over when above 25mph. What can I do to resolve this annoy thing. At least if I leave it alone and I get pulled over I can offer a ride and then get away with it by say how do I know how fast I was going

Try lubricating the cable. Also, make sure there are no kinks in it.

It may also be a tad bit long........not much though. I had to take all my spfs to a speedometer shop here in town and they just trimmed and lubed them.

The cable comes out from the transmission end, but it's not a big deal. I had to loosen my cable at the speedometer to reduce the shake.

Check the cable for stiff sections. A cable can become hard in areas from lack of lubrication. The hardened area can bind.

all bends need to be very gradual. Once you get 300 plus miles the needle should settle down if not it will probably break the cable because the cable was to short.
