McLoed Hyd bearing problem...
Anyone else run into this?
When attempting to mount the bearing (bolt on) I found that the base of the hydraulic bearing would not seat After measuring the original Tremec retainer and the input bearing diameters are 3.350".
The Mcloed base is cut to 3.345"... 
Called Mcloed and of course they've never heard of a fitment problem. (I doubt Tremec changed the input bearing size) However the person I talked to could not tell me what it's supposed measure. They did say I could send the bearing in and they'd "try to match one up" what ever that means.
Just curious if anyone else has seen this. If I had known about it at the time I would have bought the Kirkham setup, since the Mcloed seems to have quality issues. |
