I just called Trebour Ford to confirm that the show is on. It is.
Evan, I'm trailering up as well. The cooler I'm bringing won't fit in my trunk. They said if we get there by 8am there should be no problem parking. No better way for Red blooded Americans to show their strength than hanging out with a bunch of muscle cars and motor heads. |

I understand why the pro sports events have been cancelled. And agree to some extent. But I also feel that we need to show these bastards that our lives will go on and we will get on with business of our lives and society including the business of dealing with them. I'm not about to sit in my room and cower. I think that we could use a little distraction also. Frank. I agree. Hopefully I will see you there. Speed Waxer. |

What I said was trailer parking is limited, not prohibited. John, I have friends who are still unaccounted for, I have done everything in my own power to help console their relatives, I have donated money, food, gloves, and a host of other items in the name of decency.....Now, it is time for me to unwind a little with the show (as much as I can unwind as you found out at the meadowlands show)..........As for keeping this show alive, yes, you bet, it is small, therefore a small target...The larger events have been cancelled or postponed due to serious security issues (I have several Troopers and "others" that I have spoken with on this subject)...........I have not counted my missing friends as dead yet, as their families have not done so.....My life as it is, must go on.Why let the bastards (terrorists) that disrupted and changed life the way we know it, do so any further......... ] Just my frustrated and depressed two cents worth on this subject............. This tradgedy definately has stirred much emotion in all of us. I think this small event is a perfect opportunity for us to show mutual support for each other. I try to stay un-opinionated but for those of you who don't think we should go, just stay home. I worked in WTC4 for three years and it just as easily could have been me, let alone ANY of us. I refuse to let those bastards keep me in my house. It also shouldn't make us argue over how each of us deals with the stress we are feeling.
