Default Cobra Revolution II Caravan from North Jersey

Blue Rooster and I think it would be great if the guy from North Jersey meet up early and caravan to the Cobra Revolution. The people traveling down 287 to 202 to 179 could meet up along the way and travel together.
Every few miles we could add a few more Cobra's to the caravan.

Bill S.

PS: My goal is in 6 weeks to have the motor swapped, the body painted, and the Cobra on the road in time for the DVSF IV.................

Bill,
If you have that Cobra ready in time for DVSFIV, that would be one hell of an accomplishment. What motor is going in it?

Glad to hear you guys are caravaning down. The list is really growing. Damn, I hope it doesn't rain!!

The motor has yet to be determined, (although I have a line on a 302/345hp Ford crate engine) however, my colors have been chosen, and the body and rolling chassis go in to the shop on Tuesday of this week.....

Default What's the plan?

Hey guys, I'm going to try and make it down to CRII. If I can I would love to caravan down...where/when do you plan on meeting?

I'am thinking that the guy's from North Jersey ( in the area around Rt 80 & 46 etc.) would meet some where around Morristown and then drive down 287 to 202/206 in Bridgewater.
At that point the rest of us would meet up and continue down 202 to 179 and on to 29 south to Washington Crossing.
I think we should try to identify the best meeting points and times. CRII is scheduled to start at 11:00 am.

Morristown is a good general spot. If we want to make a statement, I recommend meeting at the square but parking may be a little scarce depending how may cars meeting. Otherwise, many other parking spots just off the square.

Hey you guys, Taking 29 south from Lambertville, NJ is a pretty ride, but the bridge from Washington Crossing, NJ to Washington Crossing, PA is quite small, narrow. Steve, Roger and I talked about contacting the local police and bridge people about a crossing by our selves, close the bridge so as not to have any problems. I will check on this this week and see what can be done, if not you may want to follow 29 to 95 and cross at the 95 Bridge and head north on 32, just a thought. Sound like you noth NJ guys are planning a nice ride down. I am looking foward to meeting all of you, Rick is riding with me from Newtown to the Revolution. Safe drive down.

At the time in the morning we would be meeting in Morristown, I dont think parking around the green will be a problem. What do you guys think, 9:00am meeting time, and a 9:30 leave time?

I can meet up with you guys in Bridgewater and take 202 from there to Lambertville and then through New Hope.

Josh, it would be easier for you to meet up in Bridgewater. Its on the way from Millburn. Up to you though.
