PA & surrounding area...Cobra Revolution III registration here!!!!
It's that time of year again. We're only two months out from the 3rd annual Cobra Revolution!!
As in the past 2 years, our goal is very simple. Family, fun, food, friends and Cobras. Nothing more, nothing less. Please join us for our Cobra event and make it bigger than ever. In a nutshell, it's going to go like this. CRIII is Saturday, June 4th from 11:00am to 3:00pm. We have our own HUGE parking lot. Registration is $15 per person, and it includes a catered BBQ lunch, so come hungry. Hang out, check out the cars, eat and shoot the breeze. We will have a Dyno-Pak on site, so if you want to know what kind of power you're putting out, here's your chance (the dyno also has all kinds of sensors on it, so you can tune the engine too). Around 2:30 or so, we'll get in our cars and go for a nice long cruise/poker run. Lots of beautiful, scenic and winding roads in this area. Perfect for cruising. If you want to join us for dinner afterwards, we're going to find a nice restaurant (if we have enough people, we'll probably rent our own room somewhere). On Sunday, June 5th, we're going to meet at the site of the Revolution early in the morning and take a nice long cruise to head to the Philly region SCCA autox event at Northampton County Community College. This is a sanctioned SCCA event, so it will be well done. If you've never autox'd before, you've got to try it!! Here are two links to the registration form. Please get your registration in as soon as possible, so I can get a head count to give the caterer. If you know anyone who doesn't read these forums, please pass the form along to them. In MS Word format: Cobra Revolution III registration In PDF format: Cobra Revolution III registration Hope to see you there. We had over 40 Cobras there last year, please help us get past 50 this year. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. Pictures from Cobra Revolution II.5 can be seen HERE. You can see how big our lot is. And it's all ours. :D Steve |
Well, Steve, we are going to try to attend.
Where are we going?? We are in Michigan and need to have an idea where. Hope to see you there. |
Trularin,
We're going to be about 30 miles north of Philadelphia. The town is called Washingtons' Crossing (yes, it's the spot of the famous Christmas Day crossing during the Revolution). I will grab hotel info nearby soon. I'm really glad to hear that you plan to try and attend!! Sorry for such a short answer, getting ready to head off for vacation. Leaving in about 20 minutes..... Steve |
I will be there. What are the directions? See ya there Steve.
|
The directions are how to get to the site. If you need more specific directions, feel free to ask. Looking forward to seeing you out there. Hopefully we'll come down to your neck of the woods this summer too. Planning some kind of a shore run this summer.

I'm really hoping this turns out.... there are rumors that a couple of original Cobras and possibly a Ford GT may be in attendance. At this point, it is not confirmed, but I've been told there are a few originals owners who have heard about it and would like to attend. The only original Cobra I've ever seen was behind a velvet rope in Las Vegas.
Keep your fingers crossed!! Steve |
Steve:
I will be attending. I sent out my registration form and check to you last week. Have you receive it yet? As to which car I will bring (the Cobra or the GT), that all depends on the weather. What is your preference? Look forward to seeing you in June. Jim |
Jim,
I'm pretty sure we got your registration. I know we got a few last week, but I don't have the info in front of me. Next year, my wife and I will have to work on a way to make sure people who send registrations in get some kind of confirmation. Maybe we'll try a website, or just send a quick e-mail or something. But knock on wood, we haven't had any problems yet.... Keep your fingers crossed for good weather!! Bring whichever car you feel like driving that morning. The Cobra would be fantastic, as we're aiming for 50, but having a GT40 would certainly be unique. So either one would be great. Steve |

ooops! Never mind. I just opened the registration form!:o

If you post those directions to the general public, I'll have the North Jersey boys come and "talk" to you. :D This an underground thing, don't you know?? Shhhhh.....

Steve:
I will play it by ear - really depends on the weather. If it is super hot and humid, I will bring the GT40. Nice to have A/C for those days. Otherwise, I will go the traditional route with the Cobra. I am really looking forward to showing it off. The Cobra came out better than I would ever of expected and the Webers run flawlessly. Look forward to seeing you all. Jim |
Steve,
Can I go to the revolution with my new toy? Jim -- Love to see the webers on the Cobra. |
J:
I will try to bring the Cobra, weather permitting. If I don't bring it to the show, you are always welcome to take the drive over and see it. I am in Morris County. Jim |
JWheaton,
As long as your new toy isn't a '92 Civic hatchback with 22" rims, a 4" lowering kit, clear lenses all around and a 6" exhaust pipe, you're welcome to bring whatever you wish. :D Steve |

I didn't see anything about the sliding events. :p New toy for me is an ERA #389 :D |

I think it is disgraceful that you would defile such a fine automobile in that way:p |
Hey -- I've been improperly edited! Objection Counselor! :D
