Chappie,

Sorry I have not responded earlier. I have been changing the undercar lights from blue to lime green. The new color looks great. You should also see the new hubcaps with big chrome spinners that I got. They look great. :D

This weekend is going to be a bust for me. Saturday have a party in Englishtown. If weather is good I might drive the Cobra to the party. Not looking good though.

Sunday I will be at the Giants game. :)

Tony -- If you ever want to cruise up and need a place to stay let me know. I've been known to keep other peoples Cobras in the garage. I am sure I can at least set up a sleeping bag next to the car as well. Might have to get one of those port-a-john things though, so give me a heads up first. ;)

Chappie:

Weather looks good but a little cold for Sunday. Tonight and tomorrow looks like a mess as of now. Lets just hope it blows out before Sunday.

Cbmax:

Where have you been all summer. finally decide to surface before year end. Missed you in NYC earlier in the month at Columbus Circle. Don't say it was too far, Bernie came out from Sparta.

Jim,

I've been around all summer. You didn't really think I would actually drive the Cobra into NYC with all those pot holes etc:LOL:

So what's the verdict for Sunday?

How about we meet at New Orleans Steakhouse, Rt 15 Jefferson, NJ and than proceed to cruise the area????? Time= 11:00am????

Dane-
There is no set time or schedule planned yet. We could go anywhere. But as Jim points out, weather is questionable at the moment. I was thinking heading out towards Hunteron County around 10 or so, but I really don't care where we go.

Tony- Do not drop your cobra off at wheaton's house. It will not be cleaned or detailed properly when you pick it up.

Sounds like that Wheatie is a lazy sod. ;)

Still raining here in Southern Maryland.

BlueRooster 10-28-2006 09:58 AM

The weather looks like it might agree with tomorrow. Do you want to get more specific on times and routes? I am fine with Hunterdon or Sussex county.

cbmax 10-28-2006 06:10 PM

Any decisions?

According to weatherunderground.com, there is about a 20% chance of rain, more likely in the morning. High temp is about 48 degrees.

cbmax 10-29-2006 07:30 AM

Anyone still up for this????

Chaplin 10-29-2006 07:48 AM

Gentlemen-
A couple things came up that I have to do today which prevent me from going  Sorry for the last minute cancellation, but I lost my internet connection yesterday and was not able to log on until now.
If you guys do go out, watch the wind and the wet leaves!

cbmax 10-29-2006 10:14 AM

Looks like a blow out.

Get it :D

last fall

It was a deent show, more Mustangs than you could shake a stick at, 4 Cobras and some really neat mid 60'S heavy Ford iron. There were some cars turning the 1/8th mile in 6.12

jamvan 10-30-2006 06:19 AM

So yesterday was a blowout. Was still a little snotty between the wind and the residual water on the roads (from Saturday) in my neck of the woods so I did not mind as well.

We were without power for almost 6 hours yesterday so access to email was not possible.

Would still like to make this happen before the end of the month. anybody else still in. Weather this week/weekend looks pretty good (mid 60's) for the next 7 days.

cruise

Next Sat is dicely, Sun unknown

cbmax 10-30-2006 08:09 AM

Jim

I am seriously considering a day off tomorrow just to relax and take the car out for a spin. There won't be many more near 70 degree and sunny days left this year.

Can I twist anyone else's arm??

Sorry but I need to work for a living. I have planned on taking Friday off for a long weekend. Otherwise, weather permitting I will be out either (or both) Saturday or Sunday.
