Last Fall Cruise?

Anyone up for one last cruise before it gets really cold out. I was thinking of Sun. 10/29? Head out to Hunterdon County, New Hope area?

Where and what time? I was thinking of making a trip to Jersey to meet with yous guys and look at yous guys cars.

Just looked on the calander. The 28th is better for me.
How far North are you in Jersey? will you be coming South?

Not sure if I can do it on the 28th- it's the wife's b-day that day. I'm not sure if a 5-hour drive in the Cobra at the end of October is her idea of a good birthday present, works for me though

We are probably about 2.5 hrs north on NJ Tpke. We could meet up at Washington's Crossing Park in PA- I think some guys from Delaware, MD, and DC areas have come up there for the Cobra Revolution before- not exactly how far of a trip that would be for you though. And us guys got pimpin' rides (althought Wheaton is the only one with the under car neon lights and ground effects).

The 29th works for me. I always have to work on Saturdays.

Probably would be about the same time for me. How far is that from Philly?

Sunday the 29th a pain in the A$$ old friend of my wife's is having a party for getting his degree. BFD. He is going to screw up my Cobra time because he didn't get his college education 20 years ago when he was suppose too.

This weekend would be good. I don't know what the weather is going to be like.

I'm not sure if a 5-hour drive in the Cobra at the end of October is her idea of a good birthday present, works for me though.

What no top and heater? Just put a full face helmet on her.

I found it. It is about 4 hours from me. North of Philly and Trenton.

Unfortunately, Saturday is no good. I was away for work last weekend, so I have quite the honey-do list this weekend. There is a chance I might be able to get out Sunday afternoon- you coming up for the weekend or only Sat?

I was going to cruise up Saturday and play it by ear. If I stayed somewere over night I would have to get back early Sunday for the youth group at Church.
So this weekend won't work and next Sunday is no good for me.

As of right now, it looks like you and JBCobra are the only other people potentially interested in going.

How about the rest of the crew? Wheaton, BlueRooster, ERA649, MrMustang??? You guys up for a ride or is it getting too cold out for you

I do not officially moth ball the cobra for the winter. I try to take it out at least once a month, even in Dec. and Jan, as long as the roads are clear. Takes a long time to get that 50w oil warm. Get some strange looks when it is 20 degrees out and your driving a car with no top!

No time for an organized cruise.....But I did have mine out today and will most likely have it out this weekend here and there.

Still debating whether to take it to the November 5th "Jersey Cobra" breakfast at the Chester Diner at 9:30am or not..

Hopefully we can find some nice long twisty back roads. I've got some suggestions if anyone is interested.

Hey, my buddy and I do a lot of cruising. If it is reasonably nice we will be out there. We both live in the Valley Forge/Chester Springs area. We do Rally's and other car/events. If you guys actually want to do some running, lmk.
Not interested in dilly dallying either.
