I thought things seemed a little quiet around here! Good luck in your new local.

Probably much cheaper than NJ.

I was just thinking the other day that you must be on VACATION, but it sounds like you were working.

Art Burtt 08-24-2007 06:16 AM

lineslinger 08-24-2007 07:20 AM

Thought maybe you had been taken hostage by a radical FFR group.

Excaliber 08-24-2007 10:02 AM

I can report you didn't miss any of my earth shaking radical 'opinion pieces' on a 'correct' Cobra.

...but stay tuned.

Thanks, when I'm finally unboxed and my head has stopped spinning we'll have to hook up for breakfast on a Sunday morning...I'll see if I can get any of the other semi local Cobra guys to bop down for it as well.

What did we say to finally get rid of you? I'll have to remember it in case
you suddenly decide to move back to the armpit of the nation.

marcalan 08-28-2007 12:14 PM

Welcome back! We have missed your words of wisdom.

C-man610 08-28-2007 04:43 PM

Welcome to Philly suburbs; great back roads

Try back roads to St Peters Village on French Creek; great weekend lunches and dinners

marcalan 08-29-2007 06:18 AM

I agree with c-man610, they just opened a bakery in St Peters village which makes a nice stop for a snack

MrMustang,

My wife just volunteered for me to sell food at the Pottstown Car show tonight on High Street. If you want to stop by, I'll be at Christ Episcopal Church.

I was volunteered in a simiular way last month. I talked to someone there with an replica by Emerette Morrison?

Ken,

Must have walked right by you while handing out my "coming soon" flyers (went through 300+ of them in a little more than 2 hours before they drew the 50/50 (I was the guy with the yellow shirt on at the end of the line:3DSMILE:). I know exactly where your group was as there was a green early 60's Healy parked right in front of your food setup. The only replica I saw was one of the Reading Cruisers who had a red Shell Valley and the 429 powered 54 F100 pick up parked around the corner......

So what's "coming soon"?

After I ran out of sausages and hot dogs to burn, I took a walk around the show and saw the Shell Valley, but the owner was busy talking to someone else and my small children were too impatient to hang around.

A few months ago at the show I saw 3 or 4 cobra replicas and some GT-350R replicas as well. I also saw what I assumed to be a pretty tired mustang fastback replica of a 65 GT-350 with the wrong type of wheels, but when I got up close, I think it may have been a real GT-350, but I did not see the owner to ask him.

Sent you a PM with the details of "coming soon".

The 65 GT350 clone was actually a 65 "A" Code GT fastback. Rare in it's own right, the owner is going to be turning it into another "R" Code clone, complete with 4 wheel disk brakes and a tubular suspension.......Yeah, I spoke with him for a while:MECOOL:.
