There's a big Good Guys show at Pocono this weekend - not sure what the weather has done for that show...

FHMSCC 09-30-2009 07:20 AM

Ok, the weather is looking very good for Sunday right now. Since we haven't really disclosed all the awards for the day, I thought it was high time to share. Here's a list of all the awards for the day...
Best Stock, Best Modified, Best New Age (2000 & Newer), Best Interior, Best Engine, Best Paint, Best Truck, Best Pro Street, Best Street Rod, Best Muscle Car (64-72), Best Mid Year Muscle (73-80), Best Modern Muscle (81-99), Best Antique, Best Tri-Five, Kid's Choice, People's Choice, Full House Motorsports Choice, Ladies Choice, Limerick Parks & Recreation Board Choice, Best Import, Best GM, Best Ford, Best Mopar, Favorite Club Car, Best in Show.
All of the above awards will be professionally judged. Like Summer Heat(our last show), each of the cars that win an award above are the "cream of the crop". Now, we also have the Top 30 Stock, Top 30 Modified, and the Top 20 New Age. All of these awards will be participant judged. If you are in the New Age class, you will be picking 5 Stock and 5 Modified vehicles, and the same would apply to the other classes, it's all cross judging. You will also need to pick your favorite car in the show. This car can be any car in the show regardless of class. You will also need to pick your favorite club car. Meaning, only one of the Full House Motorsports Car Club cars is valid for an award that participants pick, other than that, our cars are not valid for any awards.

Hope to see some of you at the show

6t8stang 09-30-2009 07:45 AM

What class would you consider Cobra replicas best fit in?

FHMSCC 09-30-2009 08:32 AM

My guess would be modified cause it's not "new age" and it's not "stock". It would however fall in to quite a few of the different specialty catagories.

Can we get some clarification so that we are not all over the show field (category wise that is).

FHMSCC 09-30-2009 09:49 AM

Bill. all cars are going to be parked as they enter, they will not be divided out in to "sections". Once you park, register and choose which class...Stock, Modified, or New Age. Our judges will be going around and judging the specialty awards. I have made suggestions to others that might be coming in groups...Get your group to meet prior to the show and roll in together. This way everyone can park with each other. Unfortunately, we will not be able to have people save spots for those who are running late.
Let me know if you have other questions.

1ntCobra 09-30-2009 12:18 PM

I think that is the park with the Manderach (spelling?) playground. My kids love going there. Perhaps I can take them to the park after lunch on Sunday and surprise, what do you know, there just happens to be car show there too. ;)

FHMSCC 09-30-2009 03:46 PM

You are correct on the park. Nice idea too, kids get to play and you get to "play"! LOL

FHMSCC 10-02-2009 10:42 AM

this sunday!!!!

mrmustang 10-02-2009 11:33 AM

Trying to make it back for the show, how late can I get in?

Bill S.

FHMSCC 10-02-2009 12:11 PM

As of right now, registration will be open until 11 am. Now, that will depend upon if we are still getting cars, if so, we will probably leave registration open until 12 noon. But we will have to close it by 12 noon at the latest to get all the voting done and in. Hope your able to make it!!

6t8stang 10-04-2009 02:42 PM

Awesome show, excellent organization, great weather, great turnout (especially for a rain date)...and another trophy to add to my collection! Awesome job Brian & all at Full House Motorsports!

How many cars were there today? 200?

1ntCobra 10-04-2009 03:55 PM

My kids were extremely unhappy that the Manderach Playground was closed until next Spring...

Bill and Karl,

I did not see your cars.

Eric,

I suppose this is your car? I guess I should have stopped over and said hello before you left, but my kids were busy throwing clumps of dirt at each other by the backstop.
