bidilc, we will meet at Hardees on Creedmoor Road at 0830, just up the hill from Crabtree Mall. Weather is looking good, so join up with us. We have several members who are finishing up a MK4 and one who just recently completed his.

Cobra Clubs in Eastern NC?

I am moving to New Bern soon and want to know of there are any cobra clubs in eastern NC? I just joined Club Cobra.

coyote cruiser 08-04-2017 10:47 AM

Hey Jerry K.

This forum is definitely a good place to start. Hopefully some coastal enthusiasts have already been in contact.

The Raleigh / Triangle enthusiast group is the closest to you that I know of. If you're on FaceBook, then I just started a Carolinas Cobra Club group to also help enthusiasts in more remote areas to connect with each other.

I'll hope to catch up next time I have the cobra out New Bern way.

Larry

Hello all,

We moved to Ocean Isle Beach about 6 months ago from across the country. About 3 weeks ago a fuel line leaked onto the manifold and caught fire on start up. Luckily I was able to get my extinguisher out and contain the fire before major damage.

I do have some under hood paint damage and maybe some outer if the smoke won’t buff out. I’m searching for a speciality paint shop. I have Hagerty and have filed a claim with intentions to take it to Bob Olthoff in Charlotte but he is backed up for months.

Anyone know of a speciality paint shop dealing with Superformance Cobras that know what they’re doing? I’ve been waiting for Olthoff but it’s just not going to work out.
