Default Weber date codes assitance

Can anyone enlighten me on what the date codes of Italian made IDA style webers mean or how to read them?

Or even direct me to a reference source on this topic.

Currently curious on what:

IDA4 M4, IDA4 M6 and IDA4 K7 means

thx

Default 48 IDA Webers topic

Hello Dimis,

This post is from the SAAC forum Dan Case aka rr64, Dan has collected and comprised information regarding Webers and has a fairly accurate way of dating or identifing the time period of Italian Webers From 48IDA, 48IDA-1, through 48IDA-4, and serial nimbers. I have posted on that thread as well. My forum name there is SFM5S000. Read through it.

Nothing at all...
Dual quad tunnel wedge it shall be.
For it was after all what you (and my engine builder) recommended.

An exciting package is being cooked up as we speak by that said master engine builder, Sir Brent.
ERA Chas likes this.
