Need 48ida parts

I have old italian 48ida webers and I need 8 #50 pump jets. These are made of brass. I have been in contact with Inglease and Pierce Manifolds with no luck.

When I ordered a set of #50’s from Inglese, I ordered a few more items as he assisted in my initial baseline jetting. The set of #45’s Pump Jets I have, he said might not work as they might be too small. The #50’s he sent, a few of them had to be re-sized. He also mentioned these were difficult to source as the modern/newer carbs are different and parts for the older carbs are harder to come by.

Good luck, Earl J

Jim said he would try to locate me a set but no luck so far. Starting to think about soldering them and drilling them to 50mm

With the brass ones, I'd solder them up and redrill them to .50mm.

What size are they now?

Are you assuming to start again at .50mm and possibly work up if necessary?

there's a guy on flea-bay I got some jets and bypass' from. I think he goes by "Alfa 1750". He's in Europe so it takes a week or two to get the stuff.

Jon,

You could solder them up, drill to .50mm, reassemble and roadtest.

Then if necessary, step up by .05 until you're happy.

You'll get 50,55,60,65 (4 stages of adjustment), prior to your current setting.

If you go too far, you can solder up and start again.
