Best 48 IDA Intake for 302 with thermostat housing
I need some help. I am new to the IDA. I have over the last few weeks been able to acquire three of the four good 48 IDAs that I will need, but need to get an intake and linkage. I have a 302 that is now a 347. I want an intake that has the thermostat housing cast on it.
So I have three questions.
1. Who's intake for the 302 with thermo housing is the best and allows for linkage... Blue Thunder or... ?
2. Who's linkage should I use?
3. Who should I go to to buy the intake and linkage?
Thank you in advance for the help!
Mark

It looks like their linkage kit is a stand alone kit and does not attach to the manifold anywhere but at the carb mounting locations. Is this the best way to do it? I have also seen others that have a threaded boss in the center of the manifold.

This is exactly what you're looking for. It has the boss for the central throttle linkage, like the originals. It even has vacuum passages cast it.

That one says that it is for EFI. Their carb manifold for the 302 does not look like it has that boss or the vacuum passages.

Should be the same. The stack EFI systems are built to emulate the webers. I'm using a carb manifold from Blue Oval with my EFI system. Call wayne and ask him.

It looks like their bond kit is a angle abandoned kit and does not attach to the assorted anywhere but at the carb ascent locations. Is this the best way to do it? I accept aswell apparent others that accept a threaded bang-up in the centermost of the manifold.

I'm sorry, but I don't understand the question. Angle Abandoned? Carb ascent locations? Threaded Ban-up?

fuji is either a troll (2 posts), is challenged by the English vocabulary (aren't we all?) or has a grasp on advanced engineering concepts that us mortal beings will never fully understand.
