Great pictures, great day, thanks for the link!
Perfect weather for the event. Seems like EVERYONE wanted to get a piece of this weather.

My son and I each made 4 runs in my car for it's 1st track day. Only ONE run was complete and the other 7 had shifting problems. We couldn't get either 2nd or 3rd gear and aborted the run. (hence, 13.2s) The one intact run was a slow-shifting mild run at 12.4 I've already ordered a part from Forte Parts today that might cure our problem. (inadequate clutch disengagement?) The only bright spot in the day, other than a nice father/son day, was that we each managed 1.62 60' times on our 15" all-season Firestone ballon tires!! The car will soon be off to Clayton for another 100 hp. Add some real tires and the next trip to Byron will be different.....

Bryon, do you know who owns the purple car? I would like to get in touch with him about his seats.

More pics on the way soon
Pete, great pics, thanks for taking them - and great to see you again. Looking forward to Jerry addin 100hp here too.
My buddy took a bunch of pics, I will post as soon as I get the e-mail. I ran 12.7 with 2.2 60 foot times, can't wait to put some drag radials on and see how we do. I think 11's this spring.
The highlight for me was the rear tires breaking loose at 100mph on the 3-4 shift and drifting over the center line on a scary fishtail on the last 1/3 of the track. I had the run of my life going until that but still finished at 12.8 after I jamed on the breaks and finished at a trap speed of 82MPH. 12.8 @82mph - that would have been a good run, probably 12.0 Who the heck breaks loose on a 3-4 upshift?? Those tires suck and it scared the %^# out of me!

11.90, 11.79 and 11.74. Odd, I got faster toward the end of the day. Usually it's opposite.

Great pictures Pete. Wish I could have been there, but my car is still broken. I am in full "COBRA" withdrawl right now. I hope to make the spring run.

What Wolfie really means is that his wife, Mary, had his attention in the sack all day Sunday and he could hardly make a move to the computer to tell us his bullsh!t excuse for not making it to Byron.
