18 September - Meadowdale, Motorsports and Memories
Once again this year, the old Meadowdale Racecourse is opening its gates for a car show...As usual, parking on the old straightaway.

That was an interesting event with a few of the original race cars and their drivers that participated at the Meadowdale Raceway!

I raced here back in 1968 and would like to go however , Robin and I will be on a trip out west and will probably be around the Grand Canyon at that time.

If you are inclined, we can meet at the Panera on Schaumburg Road - 730am and leaving there about 8am. Remember to bring your lawn chairs. |

I'm registered and planning to go, but the weather is calling for rain on both days Sat and Sun the back up date. Guess it'll just be Ralph and me.
