I'm in. Blas, are we doing breakfast before? I still have to look up how far of a drive it is. But the weather forecast looks perfect! (I'm still sunburned from last weekend, so I'll be all bundled up on Sat).

Meeting place will be as follows:
Panera Bread located in:
The Arboretum of South Barrington SHopping Center
100 W. Higgins Road
South Barrington, IL 60010

Time:
Between 8:15am and 9:00am
Planning to leave about 9'ish for the track...

If the weather looks rain - everyone is on their own if they still plan to attand.

BTW:
I have arranged with all the local Police departments for WCCC members to travel as fast as we want to down Higgins Road from the Panera Bread company and the Meadowdale Track approx. 6 miles away. They will block all cross traffic for us....

What kind of bribe did it take to arrange this open road for us?

Car is spit shined and polished. Will probably stop for gas on my way out.

I second what Blas said. That red original 289 was super cool, and the owner Larry, explained everything about it.
I'll have pictures and a video of the show tomorrow night hopefully.

I enjoyed talking to Tina about her original 427. Took lots of photos to check out the differences with ours. She was very nice and glad to chat.
It was a good and varied turnout. The kids enjoyed sitting in the car and a few adults as well. Got to talk to some guys who were at Meadowdale for the first race or had driven the track. I'll be making a return trip later this fall to do a complete lap of the track!
