				 New member seeking advice
 Hi folks,
I'm introducing myself as a new member to this forum. I'm currently in the planning stages for a Cobra roadster build, probably next spring. As you might guess, I have lots of questions, and would like to connect with some current owners in the Chicago/northern IL area. I live in Wheaton.

My plan is to build a Factory Five Mark 4 roadster with a Coyote 5.0. I have questions on rear suspension, tires (17 inch wheels preferred), what Illinois requires to register a car (i.e. wipers?) and more.

I look forward to participating in this forum and sharing info as the project moves forward.

 Al C.

Since you're building a FFR kit, try the FFR forum. That's where most FFR builders hang out.

 ...and TheFactoryFiveForum.com
No reason why this site can't help with any questions you have, but a lot of us FFR guys are on several sites.

Actually, I am on the Factory Five Forum, too. I came here hoping that the Windy City Club might help me connect with people locally. I'm a firm believe in networking and look to make friends and contacts wherever I can. I already see benefit to both forums and hope to be active in them! |

Welcome to the forum Al! You'll have fun building your car, or at least I hope so
Let us know if you need help or even if you just want to look at some cobras and take a ride. There is a get together on Sunday with 10+ cars if you are interested (about 40 mins from you, north) |

Yikes! I just saw the post about the get together in northern IL and it's already late afternoon! Maybe there will be another one in the near future... Sorry I missed it. |

I'm up in Woodstock, but a drive to your house is a piece of cake! My FFR has been on the road for 8 years, and every mile brings a smile. Glad to help whenever! Sten
