"Is there anybody out there" Pink Floyd
My Cobra is on the way (it's not aluminium)I know WCCC is out there - I've bumped in to their cruises a couple times.

Yet, I can't find chatter or events anywhere on the intrawebs

Is there anybody out there ?
Summer is short - what's up between rainstorms ??

It's a much better song. Sounds great with the volume cranked to max and the windows open on the Macintosh radio in my Ford GT [Wonderful speakers, no overmodulation at max volume]. I did get some weird looks driving through Hygiene though.

About 10 of us got together for breakfast last Saturday. We are still around.
If you have any get together ideas, post them up!

 Hey Chris.
Sorry to have missed the gathering.
With the way weekends are this summer, I guess I'm more interested in what I'm missing.

Maybe a Fall cruise to Starved Rock is in order.

A Starved Rock Cruise would be a fun club outing. Let's pick a date and make it happen. Anyone interested?

A cruise would be a fun idea. I just took delivery of a new CSX (glass) car and have been having lots of fun with it in the northern suburbs. I never realized there were so many people in the Chicago area that like Cobras! |

There are a ton of Cobras in the area! You wouldn't happen to be my cousin's friend who was expecting delivery of a Cobra this spring?
In the works is a drive up to Fort Atkinson. Not sure if a date has been picked yet, but will be planned for August.

There's lots of cruise nights and car shows out there too.
I think next up is the cruise night at Park on Park on the 12th. A couple people have been planning to go to that.

There's Meadowdale and British Car Shows in September. Lots of fantastic cars at both.

 Kate,
Not sure who your cousin is but perhaps I live in Evanston if that helps.
I'll try to make it to something this summer. It turns out that a Cobra is not great for carting around my three small kids... |

I did see someone crazy enough to install a jump seat between the main seats to hold another kid-sized passenger. But that's only good for 2 kids. I suppose you can fit the third in the trunk ... or not.
 Hope to meet up soon!

My daughter gave me "The Wall" (the 1982 movie version) on DVD and we watched it again last night.
