No on the poker run...Could you imagine my protege 5 trying to keep up with those guys! I would only be able to catch them at the gas stations! LOL!
DVSF Nope...I can't take the time off. And i think that it would be a lot better with a cobra there. I know I know...I'm gonna hear it from the gang but every dollar toward the beast counts. A motorcycle would be a quick fix. I am strongly thinking about it. But I don't know how to ride even. Want to teach me? Is it better to go take a class at harper. or just learn and go to the DMV. I heard that you get waved if you take the class. But they are all booked. I could just learn and then drive...without a license but that would be just plain bad. A few friends have done just that but I like to play it safe. Any input would be great Bob! Job: yea I can't wait to start full time. I consider myself pretty lucky. sid |
Sid- I don't have my true license yet - I do have my permit, but no one around close enough to ride w/ me to make it totally legal. But I ride anyway(I know, I'm taking chances) I've ridden motorcycles since I was a freshman in High school (mostly dirt biking), and I had minibikes before that, so I feel pretty confident about riding-I wear a leather jacket, gloves, and a full face helmet. I have a buddy who will meet me at the DMV when I take the road test, but I want to get my engine working on 4 cylinders first. Hopefully, if work allows, I'll have time to work on it this weekend.
