CDog, won't be able to attend but let me know if you need any more details on May 18th Poker Run plans. I'll have route set by this weekend so I can send you finalized details if you need them. Would appreciate finding out level of attendance interest as it will be a great ride and a ton of fun!

 Hello Guys,
I will be there. Do we have a final design for our logo yet? I would like to get started on the name badges. Maybe we should have a VOTE on the logo.

I wish I could have attended the meeting yesterday, and I was
definitely looking forward to it, but in an effort to help clear out my basement, and to appease my wife, I stayed at home to help
with our first garage sale of the year. It was a cold and dreary day, but we signed up w/ many families in the neighborhood to have this sale. We had quite a few show up and made some cash, but I still wished I could have been in Shiller Park. Definitely
next time!!

What was discussed?

Hey Bob why didn't you tell us about the Garage Sale? You would have gotten more people to come with a cobra there! We discussed stuff regarding the rest fo the years events. I think we still need one more meeting to get things in order. But I'm pretty sure our Pres. and VP will be sending out an email about it. Or posting here. You got to hand it to Chuck and Mark for doing an awsome job!

Sid- the only thing that I had up for sale that might have remotely interested anybody in the club was my '65 Honda Super Cub 100-it needs some engine work, but overall is in pretty good cond.,
w/ less than 2,000 mi. on the clock.

Other than that, the usual clothes, misc. junk, some antiques, and some of my wife's Longaberger baskets(she used to have a side business selling them).

If you know anybody that might be interested in a moped - sized antique bike, let me know-I'm asking 150.00 for it-they go for double that on ebay.

I keep telling myself not to get a motorcyle and focus on saving for the cobra but man a nice bike would be fun for about 6mo. Did I tell you the cobra has been moved till next year? Needed a car now since the teg was starting to have problems.

Sid- How goes work? I'm glad you're going full-time, with the way the job market and economy is these days, too often you hear of lay-offs, rather than more hours and promotions - hope your company is stable enough for you to remain comfortably employed, until you decide to move on, not the other way around.
I don't know if I'll be able to swing going to DVSF III this year,
money is REAL tight w/ my daughter in college, and I found out that my brother is engaged, and planned his wedding for July,
so now I have to fly the family off to San Diego for his wedding.
I'm happy for him, but it was unexpected, and it's a short engagement (NO-it's NOT a shotgun wedding!).

Anyway, I'll try to swing both trips, but it seems doubtful at this point.

Have you considered my idea of a motorcycle??

 -Bob

Are you going to the Poker Run??
