Probably a bit early for a head count....
But a good reminder to get the registration form in to them ASAP |
Hi everyone,
I would like to recommend two additional car shows to the WCCC Summer line up calendar. The Stallion’s Gate Mustang & Ford Club is sponsoring two car shows this summer. The first is scheduled for June 6th, at Arlington Heights Ford, the second for August 8th at Landmark Ford in Niles. (Unfortunately, the Strats car show is scheduled for June 6th). However, I’ve attached their website address for your perusal. www.stalliongate.com Anyone interested?? Frank (Badman) |
Redmon challenge
The redmon Challenge had 3- 4000 series racing cobras,3 or 4 original racing cobras, one Gulf GT-40 and the #6 Daytona coupe. You can get right up on top of these cars and drivers. There were only a couple of repli/Cobras making there rounds on the track(About $100) better pre register for that it sells out fast. You will be on the track with 800 horse vintage McClarens or your neighbors Ferarri (1/2 hour to 45 minutes tour)55 mph speed limit but I seen lots a cars grabbing gears down the tunnel. There was also a couple of cav Gt 40s' and about 300 Ferrari's. First class facility bring your collar shirts and tuck, its the land of million dollar race teams.(And for the women my wife says the paddock bathrooms are immaculate):3DSMILE:

Sid,
I volunteered to schedule the July 18th Victor Ford Car Show and sent the following e-mail via the Club Cobra website on June 28th. July 18th Victor Ford Car Show Hi everyone, Just a quick reminder… Several club members expressed an interest in attending the July 18th Victor Car show. Although it’s early, please inform me if you plan to attend so I can have Victor Ford reserve special parking for WCCC cars by Friday July 2nd. Victor Ford is located in Wauconda Illinois and I’ve attached a link to their website for your perusal. This is a great family event with free food, beverages, t-shirts, a band etc. http://www.victorford.com/events.htm Thanks, Frank I never received any e-mail confirmations that anyone was planning to attend. (Perhaps since this show conflicts with the Road America Brian Redman Challenge?) Initially I was hopeful five or six WCCC cars would attend to reserve our own parking area, caravan to the show etc. However, I’m planning to attend the show. Let me know if you are interested. Thanks, Frank |
