Car topping Pary - Sunday - February 15
I am at the point of being ready to put the body on my car!
FINALLY----- since the car is already painted I would feel much safer with the help of 'Car Guys' as apposed to friends and neighbors. So this is kind of an open invitation (read 'cry for help') to anyone that might be willing to lend a hand.

I must warn you, I live in the city, in the Lincoln Park area, so I certianlly understand if people feel it's too far to come. However, for all those that do attend - in the true party spirit - the event will be followed by a visit to one of our local establishments. Where I will be celebrating and be more than happy to purchased food and drink for all that attend, spouses are more than welcome.

By the way the car is a Factory Five. So, I would appreciate hearing form anyone that has experience, suggestions, or words of advice relating to the installation. Such comments are more that welcome. Also, if anyone had hints, ideas, or suggestions as to what absolutely needs to be done before the body is installed I would appreciate those experiences also.

The 'party' will be Sunday the 15th starting about 11:00am or so.

				 Car Topping
 Dear Rich,
I might be able to help. Do you have all of the electrical done? It is harder once the body is on. Also is the heater all done? Did you get all of the sceaks out? I will e-mail my e-mail and we can talk about me and the boss coming out there.

Rich's car topping get together was definitely a good time.
Rich and his wife Judy are really good people.

He's done a hell of a job on his cobra build, glad I could help out.

It was fun to sit around and shoot the "stuff" with Rich, Arcenio, Bob, Kelly and Adam.

I can't wait until it's my turn.
Regards,

Bill |

Hey, now you have to post some pictures of this great event. Please!

To the Windy City Cobra Club and the entire Cobra Community:

The car topping did come off without any major issues - for that I am very thankful. I am also thankful to thank everyone that did help - Kelly, Adam, Bob & Deb, Bill & Heidi, and Arcenio. It could not have happened without their assistance.

I would remiss if I did not mention the fact that many other people offered. Many people called to say they had previous plans or commitments but they would be willing to change those plans if I needed the assistance.

I feel a little like someone accepting an award but I must say - I would like to thank the entire Cobra Community - They helped during the build and well as helping and supporting with this phase. I do feel one major step closer to actually driving the car.
