Strat's Car Show.
Just an update. I talked to Strat at the Elmhurst show last Wednesday. He is still very excited about our club being there Sunday the 6th from 12-3. He wants me to remind him tomorrow so that he can post it on his sign. We were going to have an automobile detailer there as well, but Blas tells me there is a conflict in his schedule. Let's hope for decent weather!
Strat's is a burger joint located in Villa Park. It is on North Ave. about a 1/2 mile west of Rt 83 on the south side of the road. |

I probably won't make it to the June 6th meeting, but I wondered about the raffle this year for the Spring Fling. Is it being held this year? I haven't seen any postings concerning this, and since I won't be able to go again this year, I would like to support this great cause for a 3rd year in a row (not to mention that I would like a chance to win a Cobra!--I should have won it last year, but the other "Bob" won it instead ! :( ) Arcenio, are you going to have tickets again this year ??

Aw, you guys,
At 5:45 this morning the sky is overcast and looking like rain. Dammit! If it clears, I'm looking forward to meeting but if not, not. The upholstery guy has my top, to fit a new case for it, and I keep forgetting to go over there and see if it's done, or at least borrow my top back for the weekends. Not like I need a top, anyway, as the weather's been so wet I've hardly driven the car. So, if it looks nice in a few hours, maybe I'll see ya there. If not today, hopefully at Arlington Park for the Power Tour. I saw somewhere-probably another thread here-that they had 2500 cars registered for the full trip. Lowell |
