WCCC 2005 Kickoff Meeting April 9th
Please check your email for details concerning the upcoming WCCC 2005 kickoff meeting and event scheduled for Saturday, April 9th. Attendance and participation reply requested by Friday, March 25th. Hope all members can attend to kickoff the 2005 season!

Head Count
Can we get a head count of who is planning on attending, racing or not, so we can have enough new keys made for the Clubs Condo(s) in Florida, Colorado, and The Bahamas.....

Now , now Frank, that sounds like a real challenge! Because yuo are so sure of yourself that you are gonna win, you leave me no choice but to also include myself in this event. Please keep in mind that I have owned a "Cobra" for three months now and have 4 weeks of highspeed driving under my belt! That along with my small lightweight stature and total disrgard to rules should give me the advantage to blow right by you on the track!!
So count me in, I'll be there pantyhosens and all! |
Remember to keep Gary's request to be informed if you are coming AND racing, in mind...
He needs to know (via email to him) how many will be racing...and if memory serves me right, he needs your money up front. He stands to loose out-of-pocket money after the reservation is made….Chime in on this thread if you are attending this the 1st WCCC 2005 meeting, racing or not……Among other things, we need to discuss what the Club’s plan for the June DVSF event(s) will be…. |

Gonna beat wolfie at the race cart track, and Gonna "Smoke you guys at Byron", this from the same person that told me... "I bought my car to drive it not to race it" I beleive that was the statement at last years D&M show. HMMMMMMMMMM... somethings going on, maybe just cabin fever? |

I’ll have the wire cutters, 6 tubes of CV joint grease, 1 tub of lard, 3 tins of SPAM, and the large can of foot powder (???)…and they will be delivered to you, as per our agreement, on April 9th at CIR parking lot at 3AM….look for a large black car…flash your lights twice then approach the car….slowly, with your hands where they can be seen…make no sudden moves…. I also made arrangements for a couple of my boys to pick up Fred and Rich S. that same Saturday morning….Scottj is being visited by some acquaintances of mine, (Don Chevy’s people) even as we speak… Until then…keep low… Don Blassi |

Snake Oil, You have a good memory. Yes, I bought my car two years ago and chose not to race. But that was then, this is now and all things change in life. Remember if your not breaking parts your not racing hard or fast enough . So bring your wallet and a trailer you'll probably need both. Ask my buddy Lowell, it took a few tries and a new motor and me falling asleep at the tree, but he finally squeeked me out. So did Rich Shelby, but dont forget, Rich has four more cylinders than I do. Hell that's an extra honda motor! At Byron 11.74 is my best time I'll bring the slip so there is no confusion. Don't be nervous Frank, the whole WCCC will be watching heck we'll even help you put it back on the trailer.:LOL: |
