Chicago Land Dyno Shop
Can anyone recommend a high performance engine shop with a dyno in the Chicago land metropolitan area? We have several long distance road trips planned this year and want dyno my engine to help ensure peak performace and a trouble free driving season. Plus I plan to smoke you guys at Byron.

Check some of your local schools to see if they have a chassis dyno. I know that the high school my two boys attend in Rockton has one.

I know of a couple of ricer shops that have one. But doubt they know anything about carbs. Cory from the defunct Dude's performance has a contact that he uses. And you still have StreetStuff right in Addison. Sorry I wan't more help. Jeff K. don't you know a guy you where planning on taking your cobra to get tuned?

I know of someone in Indiana.....Dan Mroz I believe is his name...
He has a performance shop and drives a Superformance....He posts on CC a lot as well as SCOF.........

Badman , AUTOMEKANIKA INC. 1814 B. Route 12 where I live in Spring Grove has a speed lab with a Dyno , I talked with them Thur. and the base charge is 125 dollars. By the way they are restoring a Cobra there right now. If the club wanted to do a number of Dyno,s runs we can get a package price. I would like to
get a before and after. I,m put ting on new heads.

I remember your cousin Daisy from twenty years ago. She was a fine looking gal and I loved the way she'd fill out her shorts and shirt when I was a teenage adolescent. But, as I said, that was twenty ago. She’s bulked up a mite over the years and looks like she’s been ridden hard and put a wet.

I was also thinking about a dyno run in the spring. I decided to wait. I got my new ignition switch yesterday, so I think I might be firing on all four cylinders after I get that installed. We will have to wait for the spring to find out.
Does a five point harness make you go faster? Somebody told me it does so I bought one of those too.

I'm working on a mass dyno run thing in Merrilville, Indiana.
Dan Mroz, a Cobra owner and all around good guy is supposed to get back to me before the April 9th club meeting with a plan. I don't know how many cars he can do on a Saturday, but I'm sure after a trip down to visit him and getting a few cars done we could always return for more...so stand by...
