Looks like its going to be a Great day for a "Run to the Rock", weather is suppose to be 90 so bring suntan lotions. A small cooler with water may also come in handy. Starting point is Uncle Harrys Coffe Shop at 9AM leaving at 9:30, should arive at Starved Rock a little before noon, leave the Rock by 2:30 and arriving back at Uncle Harrys by 5pm. A car show begins at 6 and there's plenty of places for dinner in the area should you deside to stay. If you have motarolla two way radios bring them along. Also dont forget to have a full tank when you arrive. IF anyone is interested there is an IHOP in the same area for a S&E prior to the run, say around 8am? Fred |

Welllllll, got the call that Kim's car is on the way from Factory five & will be delivered around noon Sunday, I'll meet you guys in the AM for your departure, but must return home for the delivery. Of course the driver probably wo'nt show up until later, unless we went to Starved Rock, in which case he'd show up @ 11:59 AM. I guess this is the first in a series of punishments I'm due for building one of these for my wife.

I won't be able to make it after all--I'm covering on-call/back-up for the entire company while my boss is on vacation--after working 17 hrs. Fri., and more calls today-I've decided I'd be too far away to respond.
Have fun all, and keep it safe!

We had a blast guys... thanks to all had a hand in putting it together! Ok Frank, what did I end up with?? I left you an 8, 2 (off suit) and with no bluffing, I had a feeling it would be a hard hand to win with!
And, of course, the famous picture revisited... Sid's BD leaves his mark on my dad!

Hope you get that clutch worked out Sid. |

glad you guys had fun...Gonna get the clutch slave cylinder fixed over at Mike's. Kim's FFR is gonna rock! "Maybe I should do this..."was a phrase I heard a lot that day!
John you where right you can drive you cobra without a clutch! That was fun...right Mark?

I was looking so forward to chasing you guys through those back roads!

I got over my depression and...I AM DETERMINED TO GO ON THE SAME ROUTE YOU GUYS DID! SO when my cobra is up and running...I'm doing the poker run route!

My first "long-distance" trip with the RED car and it was a great day. Thanks Fred and Suzie for all the effort you put into making it a success. Everyone had a blast. (except for Sid, DARN IT!)Ralph
