May 5th 2006 car show.

My "Cobra pals," my daughter Lissa teaches at Lake Park High School in Roselle, IL. and they are having thier very first time ever car show on Friday May 5th from 4:30-9:00 p.m. in the west campus senior parking lot. She tells me that there will be music, (la la la ) and various classes for cars such as best graphics, best appearing import car, best car sound system, ( mine sports an Ipod!), best cat neon lights, (I once ran over a cat!) low riders, muscle cars from the 50's , 60's , 70's era, and pick up trucks. They want us to get involved and tell all of our friends and make it a "Lake Park Happening"

Friday May 5th 4:30-9:00 p.m. Be there or be square!!!!

Dear Name Withheld:
I don't know who you are but you are asking the wrong pervert. That question should be addressed to Professor Red from Algonquin.

Dear Cobra Pals,

This is Wolfie's daughter...just wanted to say thanks for all who will be coming. There's also supposed to be food there. I hope you all show up because I know my dad will probably be a no show...you know, he will probably run out of gas AGAIN!!!

Thanks!

Lite 'Em Up Lissa

CHRIS DAMSCH 04-15-2006 06:26 PM

Are there any fee's for the car show or is it more like a cruise night? How many cars are we allowed to bring (I know, as many as we want as long as they are blue with stripes...........)?

Good thing we heard from you Lissa, we thought your dad forgot how to spell your name. When he's around us he speaks with a lisp and I was worried he is starting to write with a lisp. Me thinks he's had too much drag school training.

Sorry; Can't make it.
Somehow they think I want to work!

Blas 04-17-2006 02:31 PM

Wolfie,
When you MapQuest this address or school name the directions are a bit misleading....
Can you pin-point the location of the school....
Perhaps some directions....

CHRIS DAMSCH 04-17-2006 07:22 PM

Hopefully "he" has enough gas to get there. You all know what usually happens.........

As for directions... I believe if you take Elgin/O'hare and exit on Roselle Rd head south, Take Roselle Rd. south to Bryn Mawr (head west, right). The school will be down Bryn Mawr on the right side.

Correct me if I'm wrong Pops

Ask Fred, that's where he went to school!;)

This is Lissa...the directions Chris posted are correct. I guess it's more like a cruise night because you don't have to pay...Bring as many cars as you want to. If you are looking up the address on MapQuest, here's the one you need:

500 W. Bryn Mawr Ave.
Roselle, IL 60172-1978

Lisssssssssa

got snake? 04-21-2006 06:34 AM

Cops gonna be there?

BURNOUTS?!???!!!????

Can we come in as a parade of cobras? Now there is an idea!!!

Sid
P.S. Lissa will you be my date?

Blas 04-21-2006 07:10 AM

If ya like we can assemble at my house...
I have not annoyed the neighbors in a while...
What is a good gathering time?
The event starts at 4:30 but I assume many people are still coming home from work at that time.
Set a time.
Blas

CHRIS DAMSCH 04-21-2006 07:56 AM

Dad,

Did you see that Sid is asking Lissa on a date... I don't remember Sid asking for permission......................................

pilotdad13 04-21-2006 01:07 PM

It's true, Lake Park HS is my almamater, but the west campus wasn't even built yet, we use to hold drags at the original schools lot off Medinah Rd. I'll still plan on attending sounds like fun. Fred

RichMusson 04-21-2006 02:28 PM

Besides Lissa; who's permission counts?
