July 16th Victor Ford Car Show
I know everyone is preparing for the upcoming June 22nd LCS cruise but just a quick reminder of the Sunday July 16th Victor Ford Car show in Wauconda, IL. This great family car event includes a live band, free hot dogs, soda, water, and T-shirts. (While supplies last.) The show hours are 9:00AM until 1:00PM and will provide an opportunity to see Saleen Mustangs, Kenny Brown Race Car and the new California Special.

I will be there. Last year I couldn't bring my car because I lost the clutch on the way.

I called Victor Ford today to reserve club parking for twelve WCCC cars and will provide a final show car count on Friday July 14th. (If necessary, I can request additional reserved parking.)
So if you're interested in attending a really great family car show, speak up now or cry in your beer later. |

That's the weekend of the Brian Redman at Road America. Is anybody planning a drive up to Elkhart Lake? Both events, maybe?

My weekend plans include a Road America run Saturday and the Victor Ford show Sunday. Anyone up for touring the RA track Saturday? I did it once several years ago with my 1997 Mustang Cobra; it was a blast!!!!

For everyone attending the Sunday July 16th Victor Ford Car Show…
Working with Victor Ford Car Show coordinator Mike H., I have reserved special WCCC parking for all club attendees. However, Mike requested that we arrive by 8:30AM to ensure all WCCC cars park together and help them alleviate the mad scramble with other cars seeking show parking. (Previous Victor Ford Car Show attendees know how crowded and popular this car show is with car show parking at a premium.) I suggest we meet at the Hoffman Estates Menards parking lot, RT. 72, Higgins Road and quarter mile East of Barrington Road, at 7:45AM and leave for the show at 8:00AM sharp. I’ll be there at 7:30AM. Call me on my cell phone or reply to this thread if you plan to meet at Menards or at the show. |
