Dear Members,

Our annual picnic will be Aug 5th. First of all the club directors would like to thank John and Sue for opening their home to us.

The picnic is a family event so we encourage you to bring your family. This also is the time when we pick new directors for the club. This is an chance for you to take a role and help lead the club. We encourage new members to step up for any of the positions that are open.

You should have a copy of John's address in the club directory. We will also follow up with an email with location and time.

The club will provide the main course and request members to bring either an appetizer or desert.

So watch your emails tonight for an message....regarding attendance...
We suggest you bring you own favorite chair, and a thermal mug with your name has also proven to be a great option...
Event Theme....
Apparently my suggestion was over-ruled...."WCCC Toga Party 2006"...apparently there was a potential problem being dressed in a toga while driving the car to the event....
Then there was Wolfie's .."Leiderhosen Guy 2006"....
also suggested was..."Come dressed as you favorite vegetable"......
“Fishnets and Leather” was immediately discarded…
So….we’re open to suggestions…..

Sorry but we can't attend this year's WCCC picnic due to our niece's wedding. I hope the weather is nice and everyone enjoys the day.

I'll go, especially if I can have Badman's lobster! :LOL:
Hey Frank, with so few members showing up, why don't you bring your niece's entire wedding party to John's house. :eek:

That's not a bad idea. However, this is a typical Italian wedding with 300 plus hungry and thirsty guests. I don't believe the WCCC treasury has sufficient funds to afford the event; but guarantee it would be one hell of a party!

Count on Peggy and me for two. Lobster will be fine. We'll bring the butter!
