I had a thought about Snake and Eggs. We have been blessed by the opportunity to have Maggie spend the last four months in a Ronald McDonald House in Cincinnati. Adding to that blessing is the wonderful people that come in to prepare meals for the families that are staying there. Maggie and I intend to give back 200% when Tommy is able. A though that I had this weekend was a Snake and Eggs at the Ronald McDonald House by Children's Memorial. Breakfast caseroles are a hit, and they would transport well in the trunk. We could fill our hearts instead of our stomachs. I am sure if we could work out the details, some of the kids and their dads would not mind seeing the snakes as well.

I think what you are saying is that we would "volunteer" and provide the casseroles... Sounds like a great idea! I'm game!

What about a snake and eggs this Saturday (not too early) It's supposed to be 'round 50. Anybody still have their snakes running?

pilotdad13 12-14-2006 05:45 AM

I thinck this would be a great idea, but cobra has been put away. Early spring would work out better for most.:JEKYLHYDE

Oops, I was not meaning for this weekend, I thought about it over the weekend. Certainly would prefer when the weather gets nicer, and hopefully when Tommy is home with nursing to help Maggie for a while while I step out. We found out that there is no parking at this Ronald McDonald House, so we would need to see what we could arrange for the cars. If anything we could take the daily drivers and park at the hospital, but that takes the fun out of it for a lot of people.

Maybe between the RMcD House folks and the alderman we can get some street parking temporarily marked off?

Jerry Clayton 12-15-2006 09:07 AM

TV coverage would get the alderman and McD to do it

CHRIS DAMSCH 12-15-2006 05:54 PM

Don't worry. He usually puts the ankle bracelet on the dog when he wants to leave the house. Then he slips on his pantyhosen and hits the road.
