Fill Up In Merrillville Before LCS Haul
I just went to price gas, and the best price in town is less than 5 minutes from where everyone will gather. The prices are as follows:
REGULAR 87 octane $2.79/gal w/a wash of a filty tow vehicle
REGULAR 87 octane $2.89/gal
PLUS 89 octane $2.98/gal
V-POWER 93 octane $3.07/gal
And for those attempting to be at the hotel by 9:00 am, there's
ROCKETT BRAND Racing Fuel 100 octane for $4.87/gal. If you've got GPS, the address is 7277 Taft Street. Direction from the meeting place are as follows.
Take rt. 30 west to Taft Street. You'll make a right turn (north) on Taft Street. The Shell station will be on your right side about a block or so down. The station is on the northeast corner of the first major intersection. I'll be at the meeting place somewhere around 6 am to lend a hand if needed.
