We still would like to run the BA/A neon one more time , but we don't feel that Byron is the track to use, especially since Rt 66 is here also. I've been friends with the Byron people for many.many years and I am happy that the track is doing well and is a great place for test and tune, but a car that is competitive at NHRA needs to do whatever testing it is going to do on the best prepared track available and in this area that is 66.

I don't know if we will be at the track or not, there are several things to juggle besides the weather

Big corvett day two diffrent clubs and a couple speed shop groups and 2 wccc cobras (Warren and myself) and 1 cobra with a speed shop group (a spf with a 392 his first time to the track with his car, a wccc member also Tom B from Chicago)--- I ran in order 11.56,11.24,11.37,11.62,and 11.63 --the track was a little mushie the last three runs -- loosing traction the last half of the 1/4--but everyone got slower --ran the last 2 runs against the corvett odd man ----several wccc members were there cheering, Dwight, Fred, and Stan and friends --- a very nice day!!!
