I was going to go out today, but they have spread salt at many intersections in the Rockford area. What is the general thinking, it is dry but I am concerned about the dust getting on exposed steel and starting rust. Do you guys agree?

Don't mean to steal the thread.

Thanks, Lee

Warren, I was out Sunday too. No salt by me though. Just cold... and damp... and windy... and fasst, noisy, FUN!

Lee, I avoid salt dust as well. Unless you have a good way to clean it off, it'll sit on the metal all winter...
