ILLINOIS engine bulders?
Do any of you know of any that you trust with your beast? If not, who put your motor/trans in? THanks guys!

The only two engine builders that I would take my engine to in the Chicago suburbs are:
Speed Performance Engineering in Wauconda 847-487-RACE, the owner is Mike. He’ll have a dyno soon. Speedfreek in Lake in the Hills, 847-854-6288, the owner is Ed. He dynos all motors. |
Any updates on this?
AFM actually sources their engines from DSS. Since DSS is local are they worth talking to? I've heard of problems here/there on the corral, but they were all long distance probs. Anyone have any experience with www.f-p-s.com? Regards, Bill (Ozona) |
I am looking strongly at EngineFactory.com They quoted 5 grand for a TurnKey 460 engine with 450hp 500 torque. All I will need is the hoses and I'm set.
