Glen

I know--what you got? single or dual? Simpson, Diest, etc?

I can also set wheelie bars, adjust valves, change jets, tire pressure and other little things just to keep busy

We'll be at Indy for the NHRA Division three race middle of April if you want to come

Glen 03-28-2008 04:13 AM

What!!!!!!!!!!!!! is this thread dead?
Sparkplugs, windshelds, wax, $20 is not going to make Red cars any faster.
Chris and I (BLUE team) put are $ where it counts.
Of course are kids will be going to a local collage because we won't be able to afford any thing else.
B F D..............Blue Ford Dudes
Come on. What's more important, smart kids or a *****'n burn out??????
Chris, how are we to make this fair for the Red cars?

Glen

mdmull 03-28-2008 07:59 AM

Glen, a whole pass down the 1/4 mile would lend more credence to your rants.
BFD= Blue, Fading into the Distance
Chris is still breaking in his engine & polishing pipes

I'm changing rear gears so - step it up blue cars!

CHRIS DAMSCH 03-29-2008 07:58 PM

Rear gears? More speed secrets I see.

Don't forget about our feerless leader AL, What did that blue car run? 11.1 on a Street tire? HMMMMMMMMMM. I don't even think a red car will make the top three?

Ducking for cover............

Yea, but Al has almost double the cubes that Michael has, he should almost go twice as fast!
Ralph:MECOOL:

CHRIS DAMSCH 03-29-2008 08:12 PM

Ralphie,

It has nothing to do with the engine,

It has everything to do with the color of his car.

VROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM

mdmull 03-29-2008 10:15 PM

I see Chris' engine is finally making noise. It's a start.

So which two blue cars are going to improve their times by at least .75 seconds?

I guess I can run Kim's car afterall.

MM

Chris Chris Chris, this year is going to be the biggest year for the good guys, I mean red cars yet. Red is going to take the number one seat and we will maintain the dominance of red in the 11 second range.

Now that you have a much better motor than the last one you cant just hit the line lock and stand on it as before.

CHRIS DAMSCH 03-30-2008 08:36 AM

Ahhhh, Your are so right Jeff. Soo much more power!!!

11.7's on the old motor, What will the new one do................Only time will tell

Now lets just see if I can drive it to the 10's.

Oh, and don't forget about Warren, He's not a red car and he has a ton of power!

bulletbrown 03-31-2008 08:12 AM

Pinks

I had to check the top of the page , thought I was on Pinks web site Arm Drop. WOW it has been a long winter for some of us. I have seen and heard that the power monsters have been at work all winter . I hope they show up at drag day . I will be fun to see who did what .:3DSMILE:

jeffko 04-01-2008 06:46 PM

Wow, hold on there Bob. I thought you were getting a new motor from Jerry. Bring that thing on over so we can race it. We have never had the chance to race one before. Please don't tell me you are afraid of breaking it and will sit in the stands with Warren and Blas.

bulletbrown 04-02-2008 07:13 AM

Grandstands

I just want to sit with my friends Warren and Blas up in the Grandstands and watch you blow off all takers. :)

Blas 04-02-2008 11:24 AM

I won't be in the stands...or there for that matter....previous engagement....

Glen 04-02-2008 12:16 PM

Not in the stands! Have other things to do!
Do we even know what day we are going?:)

CHRIS DAMSCH 04-02-2008 01:38 PM

Good point Glen, The date hasn't been set yet.

HMMMMMM, Maybe another red car trying to be sneaky?

I don't know. We'll have to wait and see.

CHRIS DAMSCH 04-02-2008 02:46 PM

Ok, What do you guys think for a date for the drag day?

I thought Warren was running this event, but He hasn't spoken up in weeks, Must still be mad at Sid.

Saturday April 26th is Jr. Dragster and High School Day
Sunday April 27th is a Test and Tune Day

Saturday May 3rd is Test and tune day.

There are also a couple of test and tune days in may, But we have 3 or so other events to squeeze into that month.

Here is the full schedule, lets get some input from the folks who would like to participate.

http://www.byrondragway.com/Schedule.html

After that starts all the events and bracket racing= very busy, not too many runs.

Who's going?

What date is your preference? And no, I don't mean male or female

Blas 04-02-2008 03:57 PM

I thought you guys chose 17 May as the date in an email?
Blas

CHRIS DAMSCH 04-02-2008 07:06 PM

Oh, we must be calling ourselves the Midwest Subaru Club then! LOL

LRRCobradreamer 04-02-2008 08:27 PM

I can make it any weekend but the 10th and 11th of May. I may only watch, but would like to be there and see the Blue Cobras win.

Lee.

jeffko 04-02-2008 10:09 PM

Cute Bob. Should I say that was below the belt?

LRR you are a cobra dreamer if you think those ragged blue cars are going to win anything.

I think we should take up a collection and buy Blas's car to give to some old guy that would get more use out of it.

Hey Chris how about May 11th. It's not only a test and tune day, but ladies race for free! Maybe some of these cheerleaders will get out of the stands and onto the track?
