Devil's Lake Cruise
As of yesterday I'm still getting interest in the Devil's Lake Cruise and am thinking it would be better for each of us to reserve our own rooms, which will scatter us around building 'B' so as many can make it as wish to based on availability of rooms.
I'm not sure I want to know who is right next door anyway! ;) |
Jeff, Mary says that it sounds like fun but she won't tell me wether or not I could go with her? I'm gonna beg and plead like a little baby, she usually falls for that.
P.S. they say "what happens in Devil's Lake stays in Devil's Lake" right?? and "I know what you did last summer" right! |

Hey Jeff, are you going all Sid & Chris on us? You start this outing, get some interest, delay the deadline, then post that we should reserve the rooms ourselves. No problem on the reserve rooms ourselves, but how bout some info? the website has golf packages. Is there someone we should talk to? Where is the $65 pp rate with the included dinner & b'fast. We got no maps, no info, no leader on this. We're gonna be lost soon. What is the date? Who's goin' ? Help!!!

Devil's Head Update
Jeff to Earth come in Earth..... Sorry guys. I have been extremely busy with coaching baseball and work. Anyway, here are the details.
$130 per room (including dinner and breakfast) with double beds Dinner is at 7:00 Breakfast is between 7-9 Call 800-472-6670 and mention WCCC group We need 20 people to hold that price and we are pretty close to that now, but need more. Also, I got the Casino to shuttle us but we need a minimum of 15 people. As soon as I get my wittle wear end fixed AGAIN I will take a run up there to confirm the map I have laid out. If anyone would like to go also let me know. Probably towards the beginning of June. |

We have a time and a place........... but no date? Gosh, I thought all I needed to do was pay my dues to be included. I thought Wolf taught me the secret hand signal to be recognized. I guess there is something I missed along the way. I certainly do hope I am not responsible for any club event(s) because I know exactly bubkes about it. When considering all of this I am coming to a conclusion…….. Sid I am with you. What’s the name of your club? (Not the ‘No-Man’ thing… No the ‘other’ Cobra club thing) Could we considering calling it the North-Side Cobra owners? If so, I am in. So do we need like membership card. My WCCC decoder ring does not would anymore. What do you think? Rich |

The date on the last transmitted schedule is July 26,27 Apparently Jeffypoo has caught the CDAMSCH smart-aleckness and has refused to follow the procedure. All communication will be via e-mail AND the WCCC forum. With maps. |

Man you guys are tough. I believe I have satisfied the club rules to date and the maps and starting location are not required until an unspecified time prior to the event which I believe 7-10 days would be sufficient.
You guys need to focus your attention on the Steak and Lube Boys whose event is supposed to be in the next 11 days. |
Are y’all leaving for this event on Saturday Morning? I understand the pre-cruse meeting will take place at ‘the secret’ location. I do have no idea where the secret location might be.
Sooo, I think I may shoot for leaving Friday afternoon. I would like the extra night out of town. Is anyone else interested in leaving then; if so let me know. Rich |
Richie,,,, I got premission from my parole officer to leave the county for 12 hours so Mary and I were planning on going up on Friday as we booked 2 nights. No maps needed we just head north west on farm roads till we get to Iowa and then ask @ a gas station how to get to Milwaukee and I think Devils Head is like 15 min. from there. I've been in that area before. If we leave with a full tank we should make it there by Saturday night!! Unless it rains, then we may need to stop for gas a few more times.
Don't forget to bring your fishing poles and your speedos. We may have time to go up to lake Delton. |
