Well, I'm in since I told sid to start this post. I spoke with Strat yesturday who offered us to stop by after the races, if we purchase refreshments he would throw in the Pizza's! He usually gets a lot of street racers comming in on saturday nights provided the weather is good, quite a site to see, all makes and types. Or you are welcome to stop by the house for some refreshments, snacks, etc. as we feel fit. See you at the track and we can discuss further. |

Is the racing open to non-members also? i.e. can I sign up my son?

I think you need to be at least 18. If he is sure thing! The more the better!

My son-in-law (Jody) and I are in for this event.
I have asked my brother, but no commitment yet.

So do we have an official head count? Lee is your brother coming?

Head count is two. Jody and me.
Do we have enough interest? I thought we needed 8.

Got an email from Fred. Said that we are close to 8 and should make it. So two drivers from Rockford?

The track has been cleared for racing! Regestration starts at 3:00PM this saturday 5.30.09. We now have 10 drivers, more are welcome as well as spectators to learn more about kart racing! After the race we can stop by my house (1/2 mile away) for refreshments and eats. Later, if we feel up to it, we can cruse over to Strats to see the Street Racer/Car Show, this is a late event between 10PM and 2AM. The following are the drivers known to date, see ya at the track!
Sid, Fred, Anthony, Steve, Aaron, Arcinio, Lee, Jody, Sara, Mike, Marty??
