Norcal SAAC Mini Nats 2012 #1
Bill DenBeste Hosted the Saturday evening dinner at his Windsor CA Office.
Breathtaking venue. over 50 Cobras on the wall, kind of the way one would see an old HotWheels display in a toy store. These were full scale Cobras.
Dinner was very nice too

Overall Hinge length
The title of the picture is the measurement of the item. This is modifying a Street Beast stock hinge, by adding a piece of 4" pipe in the middle. I used it on my car and I get about 22" of door opening.

Front of Hinge cut at 3/4"
Here is where the "original hinge" is cut, 3/4" inch, after the hinge pin. This is on the "front side", before the pipe is installed.

Fiberglass Cut for Hinge
OK, this may be a little more fiberglass than you are willing to cut. I don't know how much would be cut with the "Original" SB hinge. I have not had any problems on my doors. This picture is not my door, but a similar one.
