Headers Installed
The wrap makes it bit tighter to get a wrench on the bolts. Note the blood an the alt. Blood, sweat but no tears.

Organizing the wiring for the gauges
I found it easiest to wire the dash and tape the wires in place on the dash to organize the loom in the dash area. I planned to add speakers under the dash and needed to make sure there was room.

Hand brake lever
Hand brake lever is from a TD Cortina, a nice polished stainless steal sleave will slide over to make the handle look good.
The cable adjustment block is from a Mitsubishi Scorpion

Radiator hose bottom
Used XW top hose and XD bottom hose to make the complete bottom hose. Hoses joined with aluminium tubing in the centre.

Reverse lockout too
The cover has to be removable to replace the cable. I used aluminum pop rivets to make it easy.

1972 Duster 340
I had just donated my beloved Duster 340 to my nephew,
he is obviously proud of his new ride (which makes it all worthwhile)
This was a true "barn find" in the mid '80s when I was in my early 20's. Unmolested hipo 340 4spd with 17k mi. Currently now has around 29k mi.
Totally stock has run a best of 14.1 and has pegged the speedo @120 and was still climbing!
Check my avatar...pretty cool

Water/Fuel manifold
A lot of fabrication required to make the welded Fuel/Water Manifold. Lots of fun on the mill & lathe.
